Yesterday, Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows Server 2008 SP2 were released by Microsoft to Microsoft’s Download Center. The two SP2 releases are a bundled collection of updates to the operating systems delivered in a single installation package. The release of the second service pack is another sign of the operating systems continuing maturity through improved compatibility, reliability, and performance.
There are some notable changes in Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Windows Vista SP2, including: support for new types of hardware and emerging hardware standards; improved reliability and compatibility of non-Microsoft applications; and inclusion of version 4.0 of the Windows Search technology.
As a Microsoft partner New Signature has been working with our business customers to properly prepare and plan for the deployment of SP2.
