New Signature and its employees from the Greater Southeast region joined together to help support the annual Atlanta Open Water swim at Lake Lanier for Swim Across America – a weekend-long event to help raise money for the Alfac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This year’s fundraising effort has been wildly successful and has surpassed its original goal of $500,000 – sitting just shy of $700,000 to date – with more time to donate.
Meet Grace. She suffered from a rare form of cancer that has no cure and not even new developments. Grace was dedicated to swimming in Swim Across America to support the research needed to find cures for the diseases that are still without hope.
Grace swam with our New Signature team and other volunteers last year, but passed away in March of 2018, a sad testament that has renewed our commitment as an organization to continue swimming for hope and change for children suffering every day.
New Signature extends their deepest condolences to Grace’s family and to every family struggling to find a cure.
