At the annual Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, New Signature was honored to be recognized by Microsoft for our excellence in delivering an amazing experience and the highest level of technical and business consulting acumen to customers. A couple of New Signature’s employees also were individually recognized, including our Chief Technology Officer, Reed M. Wiedower, who was named the best Microsoft Experience Center facilitator. The Microsoft Experience Center, or MEC, is a fully interactive, immersive experience in which customer business executives (CEO, CFO, COO, etc.) dedicate time to walking through a day-in-the-life scenario tailored to their industry and vertical, using Microsoft solutions from beginning to end. Rather than focusing on technical lists of features, or one-side demonstrations, the MEC is a hands-on lab that provides customers the ability to truly experience the mobility, productivity and collaborative opportunities available to them.
“I’m excited to be able to receive this award, but it is reflective of an entire team of individuals who work together to ensure that every MEC delivered goes off on time and focuses on customer needs and pain points, rather than on a selling approach,” said Reed M. Wiedower, New Signature’s CTO. “Customers who have not attended a MEC may be unaware of the many benefits that their peer companies are taking advantage of every single day, from co-authoring to real-time collaboration to document security and a single view of their customers. Because new releases occur each month, even those who have attended a year ago have something new to learn.”
Wiedower is one of many trained MEC facilitators at New Signature: the organization delivered more MEC engagements than any other systems integrator in the country, contributing to their recognition as Microsoft 2014 United States Partner of the Year.
